Phoenix Coyotes' General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Brendan Bell from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). Bell, 24, has recorded 4-5-9 and 12 penalty minutes (PIM) in 16 games with San Antonio this season. At the time if his recall, he led all Rampage defensemen in goals and ranked second among Rampage defensemen in points. The 6-foot-1, 205 pound defenseman played in 14 games and collected two assists for the Coyotes last season after being acquired from Toronto on Feb. 27, 2007 with a second round choice in the 2008 Entry Draft for Yanic Perreault and a fifth round choice in the 2008 Entry Draft. For his NHL career, Bell has registered 1-6-7 and 27 PIM in 46 career games with Toronto and Phoenix.
